Urduwallahs present Manto-Naama: An Evening with Saadat Hasan Manto.
Manto, a prolific Urdu short story writer has a canvas splashed with colourful and controversial stories ranging from the partition to his involvement in the Indian film industry and his love for Bombay. The Urduwallahs, Arwa Mamaji and Priya Nijhara have selected an interesting assortment of short stories, which will give the audience a perspective of this multilayered writer.
The evening will have a seamless blend of Urdu and English readings of Manto’s work by Arwa and Priya in conjunction with Suhail Akhtar Warsi, Rakkesh Chaturvedi and Asad Hussain, with inputs from their collaborators in Karachi, Pakistan – Zambeel Dramatic Readings.
