As we complete one year we decided to reflect on the year gone by. When we started our journey of Urduwallahs, our purpose was to hold onto the mellifluous language of Urdu and interact with like-minded people. We explored the nooks and crannies of the language. We were apprehensive and a little unsure of where we were headed.

Days turned into weeks and weeks into months, and like a cornucopia we discovered different material to share,  attained readership and we started creating our own little Urdu world. We have blogged about snippets of interesting information, For example; the meaning of a word, an interesting anecdote, sometimes a couplet and lyrics of a film song. All of which is contemporary Urdu related.

Our journey continues as we walk along the long road not knowing what words of wisdom await for us at the next bend. We are as excited and will continue treading slowly hoping to find some more pearls to share with you.
