Ghulam Ali is considered as one of the best ghazal singers of his era. His style and variations in singing Ghazals has been noted as unique, as he blended Hindustani classical music with ghazals, unlike any other Ghazal singer.
Highly popular in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, as well as amongst South Asian Diaspora in the USA, the UK and the Middle Eastern Countries, Ghulam Ali will be performing in Bombay next week. This is an evening not to be missed.

Many of Ghulam Ali’s hit ghazals have been used in Bollywood movies. His famous ghazals are Chup ké chup ké, Kal chaudvi ki chand, Hungama hai kyun berpa, Kiya hai pyar jisé, May nazar sé pee rahahoon, Mastana peeyé, Yé dil yé pagal dil, Apni dhoon mein. Below is a rendition of Chupke Chupke, from a previous concert.
the event managers made me feel cheated. i am such a huge fan of ghulam ali khan sahab, i went to hear him… instead it was diluted by others… so though i paid rs4000/ expecting ATLEAST 3 hrs of magic from only THE MAESTRO himself…..instead i got interspersed singing from his esteemed self of maybe not more than 1.5 hrs… rest all went in others! also pathetic free passholders.. walking in out of the seats, even from the first row!!! its so insulting to the legend…. why give these free passes to those who have no appreciation of such high quality ghazal singing!
Aadab. We were there too and agree with your views. The event was poorly organised and the time allotted to Ghulam Ali Khan saheb singing was very little, especially since the opportunities to see him perform live are so limited.
